Bring comfort when it’s needed most.
For many children and families, a visit to Toba Centre means travelling far from home—often with very few personal belongings.
Toba Centre is proud to support these families from through Toba Comfort Kits: thoughtfully prepared care packages designed to ease their stay while they access critical services for their children. Each kit provides practical essentials and small comforts that help families feel supported during an incredibly difficult time.
When you support the Toba Comfort Kit program, you are directly helping children and families by ensuring they have what they need—clothing, food, hygiene essentials, transportation support, and comfort items. For families facing the hardest moments of their lives, this support can make a meaningful difference.
We invite you to join us in this mission of comfort, dignity and care. Together, as a community, we can help families feel supported when they need it most.
TOBA COMFORT KIT DRIVE
We’re hosting a Comfort Kit Drop-off Event and would love for you to join us.
Date: Saturday, February 7, 2026
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Location: Toba Centre for Children & Youth | 710 Assiniboine Park Drive
Volunteers will be on hand to gratefully accept your donations, and we invite you to enjoy some treats—on us!

HOW TO HOST A COMFORT KIT DRIVE
Hosting a Comfort Kit Drive is simple and heartfelt—a thoughtful way for workplaces, schools, clubs, or group of friends to spread kindness and comfort.

Print or share our poster, send a quick email, and post on social media. Encourage everyone to show some kindness by donating new, unused essentials and comfort items.
COLLECT WITH HEART
Create a fun collection area — decorate a box, post a sign, and add hearts to keep it cheerful! Snap photos along the way and share your progress with your group (and with us!) as you collect items and spread kindness.
