A place to be heard, helped and healed.

Toba Centre for Children & Youth is a charitable organization that coordinates a collaborative approach to interviewing child abuse victims and children who have witnessed violent crimes. We are currently expanding and evolving our centre in order to achieve our vision that every victim of child abuse, and every child witness to violence, is heard, helped, and healed.

Keeping children safe is the responsibility of all community members. To report child abuse, contact child and family services (within Winnipeg, call Child and Family All Nations Coordinated Response Network (ANCR) at 204-944-4200; outside of Winnipeg, call 1-866-345-9241) or your local police agency. If this is an emergency, dial 911 or your local police emergency number.

All kids need a voice, they need a team around them. It takes a lot of support to get through a season. That, compared to what some of these kids have gone through, is very miniscule. So if you can, lend your voice, your support and be on their team.

As a community, we all share a responsibility for children’s safety and well-being. Support the #TobaCircleOfCare.

I’ve seen how a child responds when they feel heard.
